TULUM RUINS


The Tulum Ruins, the most visited archeological site in the Americas, are located just a short walk from El Paraiso Hotel.


Being one of the last Mayan cities to be abandoned, and said to be the finest example of Mayan architecture in the state of Quintana Roo, it is a must for every historically interested traveler.
The Ruins, set on top of majestic cliffs dropping into the Caribbean ocean offers dramatic views.


A visit to the Mayan Ruins brings your back to in time. The amazing views, and well preserved temples breaths of magic and history.

SNORKELING


Snorkeling is the practice of swimming on or through a body of water while equipped with a diving mask, a shaped breathing tube called a snorkel, and usually swimfins.


This tour will take you around Tulum Ruins so you can apretiate the views from the ocean and take some pictures from there. Then you get to live the snorkel experience at the reef and enjoy the sights of beautiful fish species, and huge sea turtles around the corals.


A boat captain along with a snorkel guide will watch over you the whole time to make sure you have the best experience 


After the tour ends, you can relax and have a nice meal at the Paraiso restaurant and enjoy our food, and drinks as well as some good music.

SIAN KA'AN


The Sian Ka'an Biosphere just south of Tulum, is one of the hidden jewels on the Riviera Maya.


Sian Ka'an is Mayan and means "Where the Sky is born", and when arriving to Sian Ka'an it looks as if the sky is clearer and it is hard to distinguish where the ocean ends and the sky begins.
Sian Kaan is part of UNESCOS World Heritage sites and consists of 1, 3 acres of tropical ecosystem, making it one of the largest protected areas in Mexico.


Various species of turtles, dolphins, manatees, as well as crocodiles, pumas, jaguars and monkeys can be seen within the Biosphere.

The wildlife and nature is seen at its best in Sian Kaan.

CENOTES


One of the unique natural wonders of the Riviera Maya is the cenotes.  Over 6000 cenotes have been found in the Yucatan peninsula, and many more are still believed to be undiscovered.


Cenote comes from the Mayan word "Dzonot" which means "hole filled with water". A cenote is formed when the soft limestone collapse due to erosion and the roof of a cavern falls in.


There are many cenotes in the close area of El Paraiso Hotel, all with their individual natural beauty.

DIVING

The Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, stretches from the tip of the Yucatan Peninsula down to Honduras, and runs just off the coast of Tulum.


It is the largest coral reef in the Western hemisphere, second largest barrier reef in the world and is home to a vivid marine life. 


The numerous cenotes and caves offer a completely different and indescribable diving experience.
